Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET)
iQ Academy (Pty) Ltd Company Registration No. 2006/033114/07: is registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training until 31 December 2027 as a Private Higher Education Institution under the Higher Education Act, 1997, Registration Certificate No. 2012/HE07/001.
The DHET keeps a register of all PHEIs, which you can view on their website at: www.dhet.gov.za
South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA)
SAQA is a statutory body, regulated in terms of the National Qualifications Framework Act No. 67 of 2008. SAQA is responsible for recording all qualifications on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) offered by providers, both public and private. iQ Academy has submitted all its qualifications to SAQA for recording on the NQF. A list of the qualifications offered by iQ Academy can be viewed on the SAQA website: www.saqa.org.za.

Council on Higher Education (CHE)
The CHE is an independent statutory body that quality assures all programmes offered by higher education institutions. Before a programme is offered by iQ Academy, it is submitted to the CHE for accreditation in terms of meeting the minimum standards set by the Higher Education Quality Committee (HEQC) of the CHE. iQ Academy has received accreditation for all of our qualifications.

Professional Endorsement
Office Professionals of South Africa NPC (SAQA ID 1027) (OPSA)
The Association for Office Professionals of South Africa is a non-profit Association, founded in 1982, for administrative assistants, administration managers, executive assistants, executive officers, clerical assistants, office managers, personal assistants, receptionists, secretaries and data capturers – in fact all administrative professionals. In 2017 OPSA was recognised by SAQA as a professional body (ID 1027)
iQ Academy currently has professional endorsement with OPSA for two programmes:
- Office Management – 8 CPD Points
- Office Administration – 8 CPD Points

The South African Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (SAIOSH)
In 2013 Saiosh was recognised by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) as a professional body to register Occupational Health and Safety Professionals in South Africa in terms of the NQF Act, Act 67 of 2008. Saiosh is today the largest Occupational Health and Safety professional body in Africa and the leading source of information and networking opportunities within the Occupational Health and Safety profession in South Africa.
iQ Academy currently has professional endorsement with SAIOSH for three programmes:
- Occupational Health and Safety Management – 5 CPD Points
- Manufacturing Safety Management – 5 CPD Points
- Construction Management – 5 CPD Points

SAPICS is a not-for-profit organisation that offers professional development opportunities for supply chain professionals in South Africa and across Africa.
